"The Observer described her as "a woman of superior intellect and many 'firsts': a trail-blazer, pioneer, public servant, educator, author, scientist, researcher, humanitarian, recipient of national and international awards, an inspiring paradigm, a shining and living example, a universal model for all pediatricians and physicians."
